Winnebago Honors 50-Year Employee

Winnebago Industries, Inc. celebrates Tom Halvorson who has dedicated 50 years to the company’s Winnebago Motorhome group.

Halvorson is the eighth Winnebago Industries employee in the company’s 64-year history to achieve 50 years of service.

Halvorson started his career in May 1972 as a mechanic and transitioned to a position in the machine shop, creating tooling and fixtures used in production. He continues in that role today.

“We are very pleased to recognize and congratulate Tom for his dedication and commitment to Winnebago Industries and specifically our Winnebago Motorhome team throughout his 50 years of service,” said Huw Bower, Winnebago Outdoors president. “Tom’s contributions and service are commendable, and we are thrilled to welcome him into our honored circle of 50-year employees.”

Other employees in the 50-year group include Harlan Rodberg (Winnebago Motorhomes), Larry Kearney (Winnebago Motorhomes), Devon Miller (Newmar Corp.), Glenn Blaser (Winnebago Motorhomes), Merle Aanrud (Winnebago Motorhomes), Virginia Hauge (Winnebago Motorhomes) and Daniel Van Note (Winnebago Motorhomes).
