Sales Agency Expands After Acquisition

The S.M. Osgood Co., a Bloomington, Minnesota-based independent regional sales representation agency, recently acquired Kroes Corp.

S.M. Osgood Co.’s focus is on the RV, marine and sporting goods industries. Kroes Corp., also a regional sales representation agency, primarily focused on the marine OEM industry in the Great Lakes Region.

After the acquisition, S.M. Osgood hired Kevin Hannula. Hannula was a partner with Kroes Corp. who spent 21 years in the industry.

“We are very excited to announce the addition of Kevin Hannula to the SM Osgood team,” S.M. Osgood President Brandon Dekker said. “Kevin has spent the last 21 years as a partner and sales engineer at Kroes Corp. covering the greater Midwest region. I am confident Kevin will contribute significantly to the continued growth of our company and the manufacturers we represent.”

Hannula said he could not be happier with the new opportunity.

“We are thrilled to have Kevin join the S.M. Osgood team,” company Vice President Jeremy Gansen said. “Being able to offer our customers and vendors electrical engineering support, as well as many other services we provide, is a very important part of our strategy. Kevin will be a large part of taking our company to the next level.”
