Canadian RVers took 7.7 million RV trips in 2022, according to the Canadian Camping and RV Association (CCRVA). RVers will continue taking trips during the annual Canadian RV and Camping Week, May 21-26.
Participating campgrounds receive various benefits, including their presence on official event maps, promotion through marketing channels and community engagement.
The event will provide an opportunity to fundraise for Care Camps. The organization funds pediatric oncology camps for children with cancer.
CCRVA President Cara Csizmadia said, “One of the highlights of this event is the opportunity for campers to support a worthy cause while enjoying their favorite pastime.”
The event will include festivities and promotions such as cook-offs, bingo nights and discounted camping fees.
