Forest River’s Bus & Van Division reorganized its leadership. Among the additions is a former general manager of Forest River’s Cardinal and Wildcat fifth wheels.
Mike Terlep spent a dozen years in Forest River’s RV operations, working as a sales representative and sales manager. He was promoted to general manager of Cardinal and Wildcat in 2017.
Terlep joined the Forest River Bus & Van Division last year and has been named the director of sales for the bus division.
Forest River said Terlep will lead all sales efforts across government, commercial and dealer channels in North America.
“There is no substitute for consistency and follow-through,” Terlep said. “We have built a strong foundation, and I am excited to help carry that forward, ensuring every agency, fleet and dealer experiences the strength of our commitment.”
Terlep will report to Douglas Wright, who has been named the president of Forest River’s bus, van and marine divisions. Wright has over three decades of automotive industry experience. Forest River said he is known for his strategic leadership, operational expertise and commitment to customer service.
“This company was built by people who care deeply about what they do—and who they do it for,” Wright said. “Our responsibility now is to carry that legacy forward while continuing to refine and elevate the customer journey.
Forest River added two roles to align customer experience with the manufacturer’s operations.
Ryan Lamb has been named director of customer experience. With nearly two decades in commercial vehicle manufacturing, Forest River said Lamb understands the need to get things right the first time.
Matt Steele has been named director of dealer experience. Steele has a background in product development dealer operations and customer service. Forest River said Steele’s mission is to help Forest River’s dealer network to succeed.
“We are redefining support—not just a call center or a policy, but a part of everything we do to build, deliver and maintain vehicles that truly matter,” Wright said. “Our work is not only about vehicles. It is about independence, opportunity and everyday life. We are transporting what matters.”
