RVDA Workshop Tackles Fraud Prevention at Dealerships

700Credit Vice President of Strategic Partnerships Jim Lawyer will lead an RVDA Convention/Expo workshop on preventing fraudulent sales.

During the workshop, Lawyer will help dealers learn to keep criminals from leveraging fraudulent identities and synthetic credit personas to infiltrate the sales engagement process.

RVDA said as more dealerships embrace the digital world, fraud risks increase with every transaction. The session will take a deep dive into the growing fraud risks affecting dealerships.

Lawyer’s session, “From Lead to Loss: Synthetic Fraud & Stolen Identities – How Dealerships Can Protect Themselves,” will be at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 11 as part of the dealer/GM track.

RVDA said participants will learn about the latest fraud tactics targeting digital and in-store sales. Attendees will discover how synthetic identities and credit personas are used to steal vehicles. RVDA said learning actionable prevention strategies can secure a dealership’s bottom line.
