On March 5, Tiffin Motorhomes proudly celebrated the 84th birthday of its founder and CEO, Bob Tiffin, at the company’s headquarters in Red Bay, Alabama.
Tiffin said team members gathered to sing “Happy Birthday,” share cupcakes and honor the man whose vision and leadership have shaped the company for over 50 years.
Bob Tiffin founded Tiffin Motorhomes in 1972 and grew the business from a small, family-led operation into one of the most recognized names in the RV industry.
“Through every stage of that journey, Mr. Bob has remained a constant and visible presence,” the company said, “and at 84 years young, that hasn’t changed.”
The RV manufacturer said Bob Tiffin is still one of the first people to arrive at the plant each morning, walking the floor long before the sun is fully in the sky.
“Mr. Bob continues to make time every day to meet new people, chat with Tiffin owners who travel to Red Bay and personally thank customers for being part of the Tiffin family,” the company
said. “He is known for signing cabinet doors inside coaches; a tradition that has become a cherished symbol among owners.”
Tiffin Motorhomes said the celebration reflected the culture of hard work, humility and connection that Bob Tiffin established in 1972.
“As cupcakes were shared and ‘Happy Birthday’ echoed through Red Bay, one thing was clear,” the company said, “Bob Tiffin’s legacy is not just history. It’s alive and well, walking the plant floor every morning.”
