CRVA Reports Fourth Quarter and 2025 Wholesale Shipments

The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) reported 8,320 RV wholesale shipments were made into Canada in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) reported 8,320 RV wholesale shipments were made into Canada in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The association said that number represents an 11.26% increase over the 7,478 units shipped during the same period in 2024.

According to Statistical Surveys, and as reported by the RVDA of Canada, retail activity for the quarter totaled 3,130 units.

“The gap between wholesale shipments and retail sales reflects a meaningful rebuilding of dealer inventories during the period,” CRVA said, “as retailers replenished stock levels that had remained relatively low for much of the year.”

RV wholesale shipments into Canada in 2025 totaled 32,097 units. That is up 5.8% when compared to the 30,338 units shipped in 2024.

“Despite broader economic headwinds, fourth-quarter shipment growth is an encouraging signal for the Canadian RV industry,” CRVA said. “Dealers across the country continued to manage inventories carefully while replenishing stock ahead of the 2026 RV show season.”

Of the 8,320 RVs shipped in the fourth quarter of 2025, 573 were motorhomes (74 Type A, 72 Type B and 427 Type C) and 7,747 were towables (6,164 travel trailers, 1,072 fifth wheels, 286 truck campers and 225 fold down trailers).

Of the 32,097 wholesale RVs shipped in 2025, 2,850 were motorhomes (244 Type A, 533 Type B, and 2,073 Type C) and 29,247 were towables (23,923 travel trailers, 3,813 fifth wheels, 9903 truck campers and 608 fold down trailers).

CRVA said Canadian consumer interest in the RV lifestyle remains steady, but the association remains mindful of external pressures affecting the market.

CRVA cited modest economic growth and ongoing trade uncertainties as influences on both manufacturing and consumer purchasing decisions.

“CRVA emphasizes the importance of maintaining a stable, tariff-free, and fair North American trade environment,” the association said, “that allows Canadian and U.S. manufacturers and dealers to operate on a predictable and competitive footing.”
