Outdoor recreation equipment supplier Kuma Outdoor Gear is launching the Trek’N Glo Tripod Lantern just in time for the 2026 RV season.
“Some nights at camp call for a light that does more than just switches on, they call for a light that adapts, shifts and keeps up with whatever you are doing,” the company said. “Rechargeable and ready for anything, the Trek’N Glo stands tall on its telescopic tripod when you need to brighten the whole site.”
Kuma Marketing Manager Deanne Ferguson said the adjustable telescopic rod is a standout feature for RV customers, giving them full control over both the height and direction of the light.
“This versatile feature provides targeted task lighting for cooking or playing card games, but it can also create ambient light while being used inside the RV or around the campfire,” Ferguson said. “It’s a practical, multi-use solution that enhances comfort and convenience on any outdoor adventure.”
The lantern weighs 1.5 pounds, is roughly 10-inches long and extends to a height of 26-inches. The 450 lumens of light then angle down with a 90-degree rotatable head for more focused tasks.
The lantern can be set to cool or warm light, switched between low, medium and high or collapsed into flashlight mode.
Kuma said the magnetic base and ground spikes help keep it steady during inclement weather or on uneven ground. The lantern is built with an SOS feature for “the moments you hope you’ll never need but are glad to have the right gear if they do.”
Ferguson said the product is water resistant with an IP65 rating. The lantern is powered by three 2600-milliampere-hour lithium batteries.
“It’s the light that turns dark nights into part of the adventure,” Ferguson said, “not the end of them.”
The Trek’N Glo Tripod Lantern is currently being shipped out and will be on dealer shelves soon, if it isn’t already.
