Renewable energy solutions supplier Renogy is continuing its mission of collaborating with OEMs on innovative off-grid solutions. The company said it has partnered with MDC USA to integrate a factory-installed, turnkey off-grid power system into a new off-road trailer.

A Renogy spokesperson said the two companies’ combined efforts will eliminate the complexity of sourcing and assembling separate electrical components.

MDC USA General Manager Richie Fort said Renogy’s smart power management technology has been factory-integrated into MDC USA’s new XT9 Off-Grid- Extreme, a 15-foot trailer designed for extended off-grid use.

“With the XT9 Off-Grid- Extreme, we wanted to deliver a trailer that provides true off-grid freedom right from the factory,” Fort said. “Renogy’s smart energy system makes it simple for travelers to enjoy self-sufficient adventures without compromising comfort or convenience.”

Fort said the XT9 is built to show how OEMs can deliver complete, pre-engineered energy solutions directly from the factory floor.

Renogy North America Vice President and Head of Operations Tiffany Dorin said at the core of the XT9 is a Renogy-engineered power package designed to meet the increasing demand for energy independence.

The system includes 525 watts of rooftop solar, 400 amp-hour Renogy lithium batteries, a 3,000-watt inverter and DC-to-DC charging. All of which is unified through the Renogy One Core platform.

Dorin said the integrated architecture is designed to streamline installation and deliver a consistent, serviceable solution.

“Partnering with MDC USA allows us to showcase the full capabilities of our smart power management solutions,” Dorin said. “The XT9 demonstrates how integrated energy systems can transform the off-grid experience, giving adventurers reliable power and complete control over their energy usage.”

Owners can monitor and control power usage through the Renogy app.

Renogy CEO and founder Dr. Li Yi said the connected ecosystem is intended to reduce warranty risk and post-sale issues by providing standardized diagnostics and monitoring.

Renogy has been serving RV users for 16 years,” Li Yi said. “As off-grid lifestyles continue to grow, working with RV manufacturers allows more people to easily enjoy the convenience and freedom of integrated off-grid energy systems.”
