Airstream issued an invitation on the company’s blog to consumers to “visit the mothership” as the company calls its Jackson Center, Ohio, production facility complex.
At the same time, the company released a new video giving consumers a sneak peek of the in-person motorhome factory tour and a view of the Mercedes-Benz van production process.
“It is an up-close look at our time-tested manufacturing process and quality initiatives,” Airstream said, “that will get you inspired to take one of our in-person public tours.”
Consumers can tour the Atlas and Interstate Type B manufacturing lines in-person.
Updated in 2015, the Ohio motorhome facility is a 275,000-square-foot space. Airstream produced travel trailers at the facility in the past, but moved those operations to a new facility in early 2020. A separate travel trailer manufacturing tour is available.
