For four decades, Aqua-Hot has supplied RV accessories and water heaters to consumers. Harold “Hap” Enander founded the company in 1984 in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

Enander sought RV solutions. He introduced the Aqua-Hot Heating system in March 1989 at the Family Motor Coach Association show. The product distributes heat and unlimited hot water when a continuous water supply is available.

Aqua-Hot is celebrating 40 years of producing RV solutions with events and reflections. Throughout 2024, the supplier will host events to celebrate its legacy, employees and clients.

The company provides in-person training and new facility tours in its new Frederick, Colorado location. The company moved to Frederick in 2013 and transferred buildings in October.

Airxcel bought Aqua-Hot in 2019. Selma Salihagic became the brand’s general manager in August 2019.

“We have been able to make a product that is a critical piece of the RV experience,” Salihagic said, “and we continue to innovate to serve our customers in all of our markets.”

Aqua-Hot today makes products such as the Gen1 furnace and water heater, which has the ability to perform at a 15,000-foot elevation. The supplier’s Aqua-Hot 125 heaters are made for Type B and Type C motorhomes.
