Aqua-Hot Conducts Tech Training for Women

Aqua-Hot, an Airxcel brand, is hosting an in-person, women’s RV technician Level 1 training in Frederick, Colorado, this week.

Aqua-Hot General Manager Selma Salihagic said, “This training marks a significant milestone in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the RV industry, and we are honored to play a role in this impactful initiative.”

The five-day training will cover the Level 1 curriculum, including propane, electrical, plumbing, appliances, body, generator and chassis systems.

After course completion, technicians will be equipped to conduct RV pre-delivery inspections. Participants will receive a tour of the Aqua-Hot facility in Frederick.

The class size is limited to 12 participants.

Level 1 training will take place May 6-10 in Elkhart, Indiana. Applications for Level 1 training from Sept. 9-13 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is open now. Applications will be reviewed and candidates chosen to attend will be notified six to eight weeks before the class is scheduled.

Level 2 training will be available beginning in September. The online portion of Level 2 training is open from Sept. 2-Nov. 22. The in-person portion of training is scheduled from Nov. 18-22 in Elkhart.
