Water filtration supplier Blu Technology and RV tank treatment supplier Liquified have partnered to launch the Spring Refresh Kit and Complete Tank System Reset Kit.
The companies are calling the kits season-opening bundles designed to give RVers complete, chemical-safe coverage from their freshwater plumbing to their holding tanks.
A Blu Technology spokesperson said the partnership addresses the issue of how running filtered water through a plumbing system that has never been properly sanitized undermines the filtration investment.
“At the same time, the industry’s default sanitation solution, bleach, can corrode fittings, degrade PEX plumbing, and leave harmful residue behind,” a spokesperson said. “The Spring Refresh Kit solves both problems at once, with no bleach involved.”
The two brands said they share a philosophy that the biggest system failures in an RV, bad water and bad tanks, have always been treated as separate problems when they are not.
“Pairing Blu Technology’s certified Blu BleachFree sanitizer with Liquified’s Tank and Sensor Treatments gives RVers one complete, season-ready reset in a single kit,” a spokesperson said. “It’s a practical, season-opening reset designed to keep RV water systems safe, clean and reliable.”
Each company is offering a different version of the kit at different price points.
The Blu Technology Spring Refresh Kit includes two packets of Blu BleachFree (treats up to 160 gallons of water) and one bottle of Liquified Tank and Sensor Cleaner.
Liquified’s Complete Tank System Reset Kit includes those same products with the addition of orange and lemon-scented black and gray tank treatments for $10 more.
