Blue Compass RV has acquired Airstream of Virginia, marking the company’s 14th Airstream dealership in the United States and seventh dedicated Airstream dealership.
The announcement comes on the eve of Airstream’s annual dealer meeting. The event begins today in Lexington, Kentucky, with 2026 models on display Wednesday.
The dealership is the company’s sixth acquisition in 2024-25, according to Blue Compass founder, President and CEO Jon Ferrando. He said exclusive Airstream dealerships have been incredibly successful, and the acquisition reflected Blue Compass’ deep commitment to Airstream’s brand and customer experience.
In connection with the acquisition, Airstream of Virginia has moved to a new location in Woodford, Virginia. Blue Compass RV said the dealer chain will build a new flagship dealership in Richmond, Virginia, which is expected to be completed in early 2027. Airstream of Virginia will relocate to the Richmond site once completed.
“This acquisition further solidifies Blue Compass as the premier Airstream dealer group in the world,” Ferrando said. “We are excited to continue our growth with the iconic Airstream brand and provide an exceptional sales and service experience to Airstream customers in Virginia and through the Mid-Atlantic United States.”
Blue Compass RV said it has owned the No. 1 Airstream dealership in the world for five consecutive years. Blue Compass RV has achieved Airstream’s Five Rivet recognition at all of its exclusive locations.
