Bretz RV & Marine made its debut in Washington last year, opening in Liberty Lake. After a long wait, the family-owned dealer will host a grand opening celebration this weekend, May 3 and 4.
The two-day event kicks off with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. on May 3. A private VIP night will follow for customers who purchased from the Liberty Lake store within the past year. The evening will include special recognition of the “100 Club,” honoring the store’s first 100 buyers.
On May 4, the public will be invited to an all-day festival for the whole family. Events include local food trucks, s’mores roasting, live music, meet-and-greets, face painting, family games and giveaways.
In partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest, the dealer will highlight the organization’s Big Match initiative during the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the program, meet match coordinators and explore how they can get involved.
Bretz RV & Marine President Brandon Bretz said a great RV or boat can help families make unforgettable memories.
“But just as important is building up the communities we are part of,” Bretz said. “Supporting youth mentorship is one way we can do that right here in Liberty Lake.”
Bretz said opening the Liberty Lake location felt like coming home.
“We have built this store from the ground up with the same care and energy that has guided us for nearly 60 years,” Bretz said. “We are excited to serve the outdoor-loving families of Washington.”
The Liberty Lake site once was scheduled to become an Amazon Distribution Center. The 40-acre parcel is now home a nearly 80,000-square-foot dealership. The space consists of showrooms, a parts department and a service center with a full downdraft paint booth.
Vice President of Operations Dustin Bretz said building the facility was like running a marathon at sprint speed.
He said, “This project could not have happened without the support of the Liberty Lake community and the leadership in their municipality.”
