Online marketplace Campspot launched a new mobile app directed at campers seeking to book RV resorts, campsites and glamping locations.
The new Campspot Mobile App will offer travelers access to more than 110,000 campsites across 49 U.S. states and all 10 Canadian provinces. The company integrates its technology directly with campground reservation systems.
“We are thrilled to make it easier than ever to book a camping trip with the introduction of the Campspot Mobile App,” Campspot CEO Michael Scheinman said. “We continue to see unprecedented demand for outdoor vacations, following a 220% increase in the volume of Campspot bookings from 2019 to 2020. Our app will help lovers of the outdoors quickly and easily book a campsite and create lifelong camping memories.”
Developed by campground owners, Campspot launched in 2015. In 2020, the business rolled out its public booking platform, allowing travelers to search and book thousands of campgrounds.
