The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) reported third-quarter RV wholesale shipments totaled 5,925, a 6.7% increase over the 5,552 RVs shipped during the third quarter of 2024.
According to Statistical Surveys and the RVDA of Canada, third-quarter retail registrations totaled 10,492 RVs.
CRVA said the significant gap between sales and wholesale shipments reduced dealer inventories as retailers aligned inventory levels with demand.
RV wholesale shipments through the first nine months of 2025 totaled 23,777, up 4% from the 22,860 wholesale RV shipments during the first nine months of 2024.
CRVA said despite broader economic headwinds, the improvement in third-quarter shipments is an encouraging sign. At the same time, CRVA said the association is mindful of external pressures. Pressures include higher interest rates, modest national economic growth and ongoing trade uncertainties.
CRVA said, “We want to reinforce the importance of a stable, tariff-free and fair North American trade environment that enables Canadian and U.S. manufacturers and dealers on both sides of the border to operate on a predictable and equal footing.”
Through the first nine months of 2025, 21,500 towable RVs were shipped into Canada. Travel trailers made up the bulk of the shipments at 17,758. Fifth wheels totaled 2,741 RVs.
On the motorhome side, 2,277 RVs were shipped into Canada through the first nine months of 2025. Of those, 1,646 were Type C motorhomes.
