Care Camps Foundation said it is partnering with RVDA for a month-long 2026 Compete for Kids fundraising campaign taking place in June.

The campaign will take place during National Camping Month and RV dealerships across the country are invited to join in a friendly competition to support pediatric oncology camps.

The campaign was initially launched in 2025 and helped support 125 camps across the United States and Canada, impacting more than 47,000 children with cancer and their families.

Care Camps Development Director Jenna Berneck said the 2026 campaign continues to focus on ease of participation, flexibility and industry-wide collaboration.

“Care Camps Foundation is incredibly grateful for the remarkable support the RV industry has shown through Compete for Kids,” Berneck said. “The willingness of RV dealerships to step forward, work together and support camps that serve children with cancer and their families has been truly meaningful. This campaign continues to remind us how powerful generosity can be when an industry rallies around a shared purpose.”

RVDA President Phil Ingrassia emphasized the pride the RV industry takes in supporting the campaign.

“RV dealers are deeply connected to the outdoors and fostering family experiences,” Ingrassia said. “Compete for Kids is a natural fit for our industry, and we are proud to partner with Care Camps Foundation to help bring these camp experiences to children with cancer and their families.”

Dealerships that participated in the 2025 campaign were recognized on stage at the RVDA Convention in Las Vegas. Long View RV in Windsor Locks, Connecticut was named the top fundraiser.

Long View RV’s Lexi Roberts said being part of the Compete for Kids campaign was incredibly rewarding for her and her team.

“It brought our staff together around a cause that truly matters,” Roberts said, “and knowing our efforts helped support camps serving children with cancer made it even more meaningful.”

RV dealerships are encouraged to learn more and sign up to participate through the campaign website.

There is no minimum fundraising requirement, and dealerships can participate in ways that best fit their teams and communities.

Care Camps said funds raised through the campaign support camps that serve children with cancer and their families, providing safe and meaningful outdoor experiences that promote healing, connection and joy.
