EXCLUSIVE: Meyer Distributing Acquires Northern Wholesale Supply

RV distributor consolidation continued this week. Meyer Distributing has acquired certain assets of Northern Wholesale Supply. Meyer Distributing has a warehouse in Newport, Minnesota, but Meyer Vice President of Sales Cody Ziegler said the company will consolidate its warehouse with Northern Wholesale Supply’s Lino Lakes, Minnesota, operations. Northern Wholesale Supply opened a 110,000-square-foot facility in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, in 2022.

EXCLUSIVE: Coachmen Shelves RVEX Concept for 2026

Coachmen RV will continue to explore new chassis options for the all-electric RVEX, but General Manager Zach Eppers said there are no 2026 production plans. Rev Group Merger Focused on Specialty Vehicles

Rev Group and Terex Corp. entered into a definitive merger agreement to merge in a stock-and-cash transaction. Terex Corp. is a global industrial equipment manufacturer. Terex CEO Simon Meester told investors on a conference call that the RV business was not a top priority as the companies are combined. A Rev Group spokesperson said leaders were unavailable to comment Thursday on the RV business’ future beyond the investor conference call.

Winnebago Profits Nearly Double in Fiscal 2025

Winnebago Industries reported a strong finish to fiscal year 2025, which improved the company’s bottom line. Fiscal 2025 sales fell 5.9% from fiscal 2024, the company reported. Profits rose. Fiscal 2025 profits totaled $25.7 million, a 97.7% increase from fiscal 2024.

RVIA: Lauan Subject to Tariffs

RVIA said last week lauan plywood will be subject to reciprocal tariffs beginning at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Tuesday. At that time, lauan plywood imports from Indonesia will face a 19% International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) tariff on top of the existing 8% MFN duty for a total tariff rate of 27%.
