In 2010, four companies came together and formed Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV), known today as the manufacturer umbrella REV Group. REV Recreation Group serves as the company’s luxury RV manufacturer, making travel trailers and Type A, B and C motorhomes.

American Industrial Partners acquired Collins Industries in 2006 and, two years later, bought E-ONE. Fleetwood Enterprises, which includes Fleetwood RV and American Coach, went bankrupt in 2009, and AIP acquired its assets. After buying Halcore Group in 2010, AIP rebranded to Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV).

In 2013, ASV bought Thor’s bus business and Navistar International’s assets, including Monaco and Holiday Rambler. Two years later, the company renamed and rebranded again to REV Group, which includes the company’s REV Recreation Group arm.

Since, REV Group has acquired manufacturers, fire apparatus businesses, and ambulance and bus brands. In 2017, REV Group went global and opened a manufacturing facility in Brazil. The company also entered a joint venture with Chery Holding Group in China, where REV now manufactures specialty vehicles.
