Leonard Buchholz, the sales and marketing manager of DealerPRO RV Training, will host a pair of workshops in the fixed operations track at the RVDA Convention/Expo.

The Convention/Expo will take place Nov. 6-10, 2023, at Paris Las Vegas.

Buchholz, a first-time presenter, will discuss “7 Steps to Increased Profits in Service” from 8:15-9:15 a.m. Nov. 7. Buchholz said because fixing all the service department’s problems at once is impossible, attendees should break changes down into smaller tasks to correct one at a time.

During the workshop, Buchholz will teach attendees:

  • The seven basic steps to profitability
  • What causes out-of-line conditions
  • The corrective steps necessary to build long term profitability
  • How to build a seven-step action plan to use when they get back to their dealership

His second session will take place from 9-10 a.m. Nov. 9. The session is titled “How to Turn Your Advisors into Sales Experts, Drive Revenue, and Increase Customer Satisfaction.”

Owners, general managers and service managers will learn how to identify service sales opportunities already present in the service department.

During the workshop, Buchholz will teach attendees:

  • How to increase customer satisfaction with proven communication strategies and techniques
  • To use a checklist to determine the effectiveness of your advisors and develop a training strategy to address deficiencies
  • How to make a five-step action plan
