Dec-O-Art’s partnership with Forest River Inc. generated over $4,500 in donations to the Care Camp Foundation.
The donation is the first of what Dec-O-Art said will be “many annual donations through this commitment.”
Dec-O-Art and Forest River partnered to donate proceeds from co-branded Forest River and Care Camps Foundation decals. The proceeds support Care Camps’ mission to fund medically supervised oncology camps that enable children with cancer, and their families, to experience the outdoors.
Nathan Dosmann, president of Dec-O-Art, said, “At Dec-O-Art, we believe our work should not only serve our customers but also strengthen the communities around us. Supporting Care Camps Foundation reflects our commitment to our community.”
Founded in 1984 by a group of KOA campground owners, Care Camps Foundation is dedicated to funding camps for children with cancer in the U.S. and Canada.
“This donation is more than dollars,” Dosmann said. “It is about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing extraordinary challenges and giving children the chance to laugh, play and create memories that cancer cannot take away.”
Care Camps Foundation now funds over 120 pediatric oncology camps that make it possible for more than 40,000 children, siblings, and parents to attend camp each year.
Care Camps Foundation Executive Director Gwynn Sullivan said, “We are thrilled to have Dec-O-Art’s support. Their generosity will help the camps we fund reach more families and provide children facing cancer with unforgettable camp experiences.”
