Elkhart Extravaganza will take place Sept. 28-Oct. 2, officials revealed Tuesday morning.
The event plans also sets the dates for the RV/MH Hall of Fame’s RV Suppliers Show. The supplier event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 28-30.
Forest River and Thor Industries are expected to occupy their traditional locations, with Forest River at the former East to West plant at 29861 Old U.S. Highway 33 and Thor’s brands set up at the lot outside the RV/MH Hall of Fame. Winnebago confirmed the manufacturer will return to its recent home at the Elcona Country Club.
The announcement opens up reservations along Executive Parkway leading to the RV/MH Hall of Fame. Last year, 23 manufacturers occupied spots along Executive Parkway or in overflow sites on Discovery Drive off County Road 6.
The timing also provides a week between the end of America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Elkhart Extravaganza. The Hershey show will take place from Sept. 15-20.
Forest River launched the industry’s largest wholesale show in 2009 as its Product Expo, providing dealers with the opportunity to meet with the manufacturer and its representatives.
