Garmin International’s newly updated Serv+ is a one-stop-shop for controlling most RV functions.

Garmin, a technology supplier for the RV industry, released an updated multiplex control panel from the Serv to the new Serv+.

Serv+ acts as an RV’s command center. The control panel helps consumers control onboard entertainment, monitor security camera feeds, change the temperature settings and adjust other systems throughout the cabin.

Serv+ is an OEM product. Garmin rolled out its Serv panel last year. Serv+ offers built-in digital switching, which enables consumers to monitor and control onboard systems, providing the total “smart” RV experience.

The Serv+ also includes built-in input and output channels to control and monitor onboard systems without an external module. Serv+ can expand into larger systems by adding external EmpirBus modules.

Garmin Vice President of Global Consumer Sales Dan Bartel said, “Serv+ is a must-have for any RV adventure. It puts the power of multiple physical switches into one easy-to-use touchscreen display, saving time and space so customers can focus more on making memories.”

Serv+ is available in two sizes, 7-inch or 10-inch. Both displays can be mounted to be portrait and landscape.A picture of Garmin Serv+

Garmin Sr. Director of Marine and RV Sales Dave Dunn said, “There are a few other products in the market that offer some controls but none that offer everything Serv+ offers.”

Serv+ will include:

  • An integrated control center for music, lights, temperature settings and more.
  • Full JL Audio and Fusion Audio control.
  • The Garmin RV Controls app so consumers can control functions while outside the RV.
  • RV Vieo series infotainment system integration, adding RV navigation capabilities.
  • Voice command for a hands-free option.
  • The option to connect compatible security cameras.
  • The option to have it professionally installed, as a stand-alone display or as part of an interconnected system throughout the RV.

Dunn said, “We expect customers to respond positively to Serv+.”

Manufacturers can add their own logos and branding to the Serv+ interface.
