Incenter Insurance Solutions, a personal RV insurance provider owned by Blackstone Group, recently retooled its business with new people, products, offices and carrier relationships, the company said.

Incenter Insurance recently expanded its leadership team to offer more products and become more responsive and accessible, Incenter Insurance Solutions President Tom Price said. The company has employees in New Jersey, New York state and North Carolina, with more to come.

In the RV industry, the company wants to build referral relationships with RV dealers.

“There are many different solutions we can provide, depending on their needs and plans,” Price said. “The customer who is retiring and traveling around the country has a different set of requirements than the individual who is traveling with friends to a Penn State football game. Car rental charges in the event of an accident, replacement costs for those using their RV full-time, and damage to personal property could all factor in. Everything is personalized to them.”

Incenter Insurance Solutions was founded in 2016 as a third-party agent in force-placed insurance. The company offers personal, business and mortgage/lender coverage in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

“Now we are extending far beyond that point of origin,” Price said. “There are two reasons for this change. First, insurance is not about selling products; it is about people solving problems for clients that they truly care about,” Price said. “Part of caring means offering whatever they might require in any area of life. We have the breadth and depth of products and carrier relationships to custom design policies for anyone, at any stage.”

The company is looking to change the way insurance is sold, Price said, strongly believing that earlier models are becoming obsolete.

“In an era of climate change, ransomware threats and more, risk looks and feels different. Moreover, the quote-driven sales model does clients a huge disservice,” Price said. “Clients should be making decisions based on a comprehensive picture of their lives and risks.”

RV dealers wanting to work with Incenter Insurance can contact the company’s Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, headquarters at 833-901-3980 or [email protected].

Executives working from dealers’ national corporate headquarters should contact Craig Eagleson, vice president national sales, at [email protected].
