Hessaire Products, Inc. is rolling out its portable evaporative cooler in new colors.
The MC18 now comes in a retro blue as well as three other colors and is available from many distributors including NTP-Stag under these product numbers:
- MC18MT: teal blue
- MC18M: off-white
- MC18V: forest green
- MC18S: sand color
According to Hessaire Director of Sales and Customer Service Kim Pair, the company listens closely to customer suggestions for style and color adaptations.
“We appreciate what our customers have to say. When you call into our office, you will get a live person.” Pair said. “Customer service is very important to us. Our color styles came about as ideas from our customers.”
The MC18 can cool 500 square feet has a top handle and wheels and can be used inside or outside an RV. The unit:
- Puts out 1300 CFM
- Draws .7 amps or 85 watts
- Weighs 17 pounds dry-assembled
- Measures 20″ L x 10″ W x 28″H
- Uses standard 115 amp power
- Features front louvers for directing airflow
The cooler can be run on either fan-only mode or evaporative cooler mode.
According to Pair, who uses the cooler in her own RV, running the unit in fan-only mode is a perfect solution for moving air through a coach in the hot summer months.
In evaporative cooler mode, the unit can run for two to three hours on one five-gallon tank of water. The unit comes equipped with a float and valve assembly and can be hooked up
to a hose for continuous use.
Hessaire supplies a variety of other larger, portable evaporative coolers in higher CFMs for indoor and outdoor use.
The company’s main facility is in Holly Pond, Alabama. The company’s new facility in Houston, Texas opened in October 2021.
