A year after the pandemic forced the cancellation of Northern Wholesale Supply’s in-person Supershow, the regional distributor announced a return to an in-person event.

Northern Wholesale will host its annual Supershow Dec. 8-9 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Red Wing, Minnesota.

“We are looking forward to being able to see all of our customers, vendors, and friends under one roof again,” company Director of Sales and Marketing Dean Kruchten said.

After the company deemed last year’s virtual show a success, Northern Wholesale Supply also announced it would keep a virtual component to this year’s Supershow.

The distributor will offer a virtual show portal to give dealers a chance to review ordering before the in-person event. The portal also will provide a preview of new products displayed at the Supershow.

The Supershow typically has been a one-day event. It was scheduled to take place over two days last year and will be conducted over two days this year.

The Supershow returns to Treasure Island, where Northern Wholesale has conducted its Supershow for a decade. Original 2020 plans called for the event to take place at Treasure Island, but post-pandemic, the show was rescheduled to Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota, because of scheduling conflicts with Treasure Island.

A week after the announcement, however, new Minnesota pandemic shutdown orders forced the in-person event cancellation.
