Overland Expo, an event series for adventure travel and overlanding enthusiasts, is heading to uncharted territory.

Overland Expo Marketing Specialist David Kerstan said Overland Expo received consistent feedback from attendees and exhibitors asking for a California event.

“Southern California is home to a thriving overlanding and adventure travel community,” Kerstan said. “There is a high concentration of enthusiasts, industry brands and content creators who are passionate about off-road exploration.”

The expo will feature educational classes; networking opportunities; roundtable discussions; family-friendly events; a vehicle and gear trade show; and food and drinks.

Overland Expo founding instructor Graham Jackson will teach attendees how to plan their overland journey. Instructor and overlander Connie Rodman will lead a class about how to organize gear. National Geographic Photographer Mylo Fowler will show attendees how to up their photography game.

Overland Expo said they expect a high turnout and an enthusiastic response to the SoCal location, as many overlanding adventures live around the area.

About two weeks before the event, Overland Expo will launch an event app. The app will share information about the exhibitors, navigating the exhibitor floor, keeping up to date with education sessions and more.
