The Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association (PRVCA) is known for partnering with RVTI and RVDA to provide a wide variety of training opportunities.
In 2025, PRVCA members completed five RVTI certifications and 89 RVDA online classes. In 2026, the association is looking to do even more, according to PRVCA Education Director James Lubomski.
“We will complete at least four RVTI Level 1 Technician Certification classes and one Level 2 class,” Lubomski said. “There will be at least 14 seminars at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania for 2026 providing continuing education units for industry professionals.”
PRVCA will be hosting Lippert, Dometic and Renogy for live training events in 2026.
In 2025, Lippert provided two live training events for 64 PRVCA members and Dometic held a two-day training for 11 members.
“The Renogy training is something new for us. It is something that has been in development for over a year,” Lubomski said. “Renogy will be facilitating a solar system installation class.”
PRVCA is purchasing a solar power system from Renogy that Lubomski said is slightly unconventional. Renogy will be offering installation, maintenance and troubleshooting training on the system over a three-day period.
Lubomski said the new system will be used to provide solar system training.
PRVCA also hosts classes for local high school students.
“I absolutely love the RVTI certification classes,” he said. “One reason is because we have partnered with a few Pennsylvania Career and Technical Education centers to host the classes. These are amazing facilities to host the training, and it exposes the RV industry to high school students and young adults who are currently enrolled in a trade focused education.”
Students are also taken on tours of America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey.
Additionally, PRVCA has partnered with Xantrex, Lippert, Airxcel and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to provide access to the companies’ online educational services through the PRVCA website.
“We have an online library of webinars, training videos and industry relevant information available to members,” Lubomski said. “Between these two events, the students receive a wealth of knowledge about career opportunities in the RV industry.”
Respected voice on electricity in the RV industry, Mike Sokol, will be providing another online learning series for PRVCA in 2026 after he created a new learning tool in 2025.
“Annually, we have Mike providing a series of webinars,” Lubomski said. “In 2025, he created an online learning center utilizing a learning management system that has truly elevated the education he provides.”
A total of 26 PRVCA members completed Sokol’s eight-session course last year.
Lubomski said PRVCA helped 47 technicians earn their Level 1 and 14 technicians earn their Level 2 certifications in 2025.
PRVCA’s partnership with RVDA and the Mike Molino Online Learning Center will continue through July of 2027 and at least 16 classes have been completed so far this year.
