Terex Corp. CEO Simon Meester said Wednesday the company, which bought Rev Group in January, was committed to integrating Rev Group’s RV divisions into Terex Corp.

Meester said the company’s Midwest Automotive Designs sale, announced earlier this week, was not a sign that Terex Corp. was exiting the RV business.

“The announcement that we sent out of Midwest, that process was already ongoing before we closed the merger,” Meester said. “So, do not read too much into that, that we are in portfolio adjustment mode.”

Instead, Meester said Rev Group’s RV and specialty vehicle businesses will be a standalone operating segment moving forward, with no organizational changes. Gary Gunter will continue to lead Rev Group’s RV businesses. That includes Type A brands American Coach, Fleetwood RV and Holiday Rambler, and Renegade RV. Mike Vinig will lead the specialty vehicle business, which he has been doing at Rev Group since 2024.

“Both Mike and Gary bring deep Rev experience,” Meester said, “ensuring continuity while driving further improvements.”

Meester said Terex is now in integration mode, focused on what is in front of the company and its leaders.

“That is, making sure that we integrate the company, that we build our synergy pipeline,” he said, “that we focus on the execution of the four segments that we now own. That is really our most immediate focus.”

He said in 2027 or beyond, the company could make some adjustments to its portfolio, but now integration is the focus.

Meester said Terex Corp. expects to realize $75 million in synergy savings by 2028 from buying Rev Group. He said the company expects half of the $75 million in savings to occur within the next 12 months. Most early savings, he said, will come from eliminating duplicate corporate costs.
