Firefly Integrations introduced Firefly Spark, a multiplex control system, replacing legacy analog switch banks with a touchscreen and mobile experience.
Firefly said Spark streamlines wiring and reduces installation errors.
Firefly said Spark consolidates dozens of individual functions into a software-driven interface. The software controls lighting, climate, power management and other key coach systems.
The company said that OEMs adopting Spark can achieve a return on investment of up to four times that of traditional control components, through greater efficiency, fewer support issues and stronger retail positioning. Spark features numerous configurations to accommodate RVs across every class.
Firefly Integrations Vice President of Sales Mike Butler said, “Spark brings our years of luxury RV automation engineering to the broader market with a platform that is both OEM-friendly and genuinely delightful for end users. Manufacturers get a product quickly with simpler harnessing, quicker training and built-in diagnostics. Dealers see fewer avoidable issues and customers enjoy modern, app-enabled control out of the box. We believe Spark sets a new baseline for how RV systems should be designed and supported.”
Backed by U.S.-based engineering support, Firefly said Spark is an upgrade for OEMs seeking to differentiate mid-tier and value models without adding production line complexity. The system’s touchscreen plus mobile app architecture provides a modern user experience while the underlying multiplex reduces analog panels’ labor and common electrical failure points.
“Outdated RV control systems are holding manufacturers back,” Butler said. “Spark fixes that with a clean install, a cohesive digital interface and a supportable platform that scales across floorplans. It is the easiest way to future-proof a line and the bottom line.”
Spark is available for OEM demonstrations and technical evaluations. Manufacturers can request a personalized walkthrough. Interested parties can download a comparative guide that details wiring complexity, install time, diagnostics and total cost differences between Spark, analog systems, and other solutions.
Firefly will showcase Spark at this week’s RV Hall of Fame Supplier Show. Attendees can see the system, ask questions and learn how Spark can be implemented immediately.
