Forest River, Inc. launched RV Explorer, an interactive web app that helps consumers, dealers and RV show attendees shop for RVs that best fit their needs, in conjunction with the Florida RV SuperShow.
For dealers, Forest River said RV Explorer is a powerful lead-generation and sales-enablement tool. The app enables consumers to filter RVs at an event by brand, dealer, RV type, features, amenities and sleeping capacity. Consumers can save their favorite RVs for easy comparison and see which dealer carries that exact model with a dealer show locator.
Forest River will take the consumer interactions from the app and deliver them directly to dealers. The manufacturer said the app will help dealers engage with qualified shoppers and increase time spent on walkthroughs. Forest River said the app should also improve close rates through informed, data-driven conversations.
Forest River Vice President of Marketing Tom Gruger said, “We know consumers research RVs online, on their phones and at live events. This app begins to bring those behaviors together into one seamless experience. It helps shoppers cut through the noise, focus on what matters to them, and feel confident walking into a dealer conversation.”
Forest River said RV Explorer was developed to help simplify the RV buying experience when planning for RV shows. The company said consumers often struggle to quickly identify the RVs that truly meet their needs, given the hundreds of units on display at major RV shows.
For Tampa patrons, the app is a digital guide, helping attendees navigate the Florida State Fairgrounds. The app highlights all Forest River brands represented at the show, which floorplans are on site, and which dealer is carrying each brand and model.
RV Explorer also includes the 2026 Forest River Florida RV Show Guide, a comprehensive overview of the 2026 Forest River model-year products.
