The training occurs Oct. 21-23 at the new Forest River Service Center in Hemet, California.

The company said the three-day, hands-on program reflects Forest River’s commitment to supporting dealers with the tools, knowledge and certification needed to succeed. The training previously was offered only in Indiana.

Forest River Director of Parts and Services Doug Deter said, “Continuous learning is what sets top-performing service departments apart. We are excited to bring this training to the West Coast, where dealers will gain the skills and confidence needed to deliver best-in-class solutions.”

Participating technicians will receive free training from suppliers. Sessions will cover RV furnaces, slide outs, air conditioners and flooring. OEM training will be provided in electrical, paneling, metal change and multiplex systems.

The company said participants will receive practical instruction on Forest River’s newest RVs and systems. Attendees will learn diagnostic procedures, warranty requirements and repair protocols.

Vendors and Forest River experts will provide participants with updates on the latest tools and techniques.

Attendees will qualify for RV Technical Institute continuing education units upon successfully completing the training.
