Family RV Association said it is bringing the spirit of the tropics to the Peach State for its 112nd International Convention in Perry, Georgia.
The Cincinnati-based RV owners club will host its “Changes in Latitudes – RV Beach Party” at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter March 18-21.
The association said all RV owners — FRVA members or not — are welcome.
During the convention, an RV expo will fill two buildings with RV-related displays, products, tour operators, resorts and more.
Outside, the FRVA said, additional exhibits will feature motorhomes, towable RVs and other products.
More than 100 educational seminars are scheduled to take place during the convention.
“Seminars will teach attendees the ins and outs of RV operation, maintenance, travel and technology,” FRVA said. “These include a docket of sessions in the FRVA Learning Zone, where discussions will center on such RV-essential topics as tires, batteries, AC and DC power, sourcing parts and service, fire safety and internet access on the road.”
There will also be over 20 make-and-take crafts sessions.
FRVA said live entertainment, including Eagles and Jimmy Buffet tribute bands, will add to the beach vibe.
The association said stars of the “RV There Yet?” travel series on the Discovery Channel Patrice and Kevin McCabe will be on hand throughout the week.
They will showcase products, present RV lifestyle seminars and host a geocaching scavenger hunt.
Attendees can camp on-site in their RVs and take in all convention activities or attend the entire event without an RV. Full event and daily passes are available for individuals and families.
