Fun Town RV, the largest towable RV dealer in Texas, signed an agreement with the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) to provide RVTI’s service training to employees at all 14 of its dealerships.
The agreement will enable more the company’s more than 400 service staff to train in person at the RVTI facility in Elkhart, Indiana, or through RVTI’s online courses.
“Fun Town is committed to training its technicians and looks to provide excellent service to its customers at each of its locations across the country,” said Curtis Hemmeler, RVTI executive director. “The industry is continuing to address the RV service technician shortage and Fun Town’s partnership with the RV Technical Institute helps us fill in this gap. Their team continues to make great contributions to the industry and our team at the RV Technical Institute is excited about the opportunity to work with them.”
Training initially started at one Fun Town location and, after it proved successful, was expanded to all 14 locations.

Fun Town Training Manager Amberly Bersin said offering training at each location made learning convenient for employees and service management.
“It is our mission to provide the best experience to our customers, while also providing the best opportunities for advancement to our employees,” Bersin said. “RVTI helps us accomplish both.”
