Fun Town RV acquired a former Lazydays RV store in Arizona. The deal provides Fun Town with its first Arizona location.

The Texas-based dealer chain bought the former Lazydays RV of Phoenix at Arrowhead, one of two Lazydays stores located in Surprise, Arizona.

The first Lazydays Surprise location, Lazydays of Phoenix at Surprise, was bought by Camping World in February.

The Surprise location acquired by Fun Town is the former Orangewood RV Center.

Fun Town said the Arizona acquisition is a significant milestone in the dealer chain’s westward expansion strategy. Fun Town has 31 retail stores, including locations in Nevada and Arizona.

Jarrod McGhee, Fun Town founder and CEO, said, “Expansion into key Western markets is critical to our long-term vision. Our unbeatable selection, transparent pricing and commitment to taking care of the customer will resonate with both locals and travelers alike. We are here to raise the bar for RV dealerships in the West.”

Fun Town RV is the top-selling towable dealer in the U.S., according to Statistical Surveys Inc.

Chief Operating Officer Chandler McGhee said, “We believe in building sustainable, high-performing dealerships that focus on the customer experience from sales to service. Phoenix is a vibrant and growing market, and we are excited to bring our culture of operational excellence and hospitality to this community.”

The new store is at 11405 W. Bell Road in Surprise and will be renamed Fun Town RV Surprise.

Fun Town RV is now hiring for all positions at the new location, including general manager, salespeople, service manager and technicians, office administration and other support staff.
