GE Profile released its Smart Compact Dishwasher for countertops or built-in installation. The dishwasher was on display last week at GE Appliances’ exhibit booth at the RVDA Convention/Expo.
The company said the dishwasher holds up to six place settings or 24 bar glasses. The dishwasher includes multiple installation options.
GE Appliances Vice President of Kitchen Clean-Up, Cynthia Fanning, said the new dishwasher is designed for smaller spaces, such as RVs.
“From cramped city apartments to converted in-law suites, the compact dishwasher presents a variety of solutions to a universal pain point: the tedious task of handwashing dishes,” Fanning said. “As these specialized spaces grow in popularity, our new Smart Compact Dishwasher stands as a testament to efficiency and sophistication.”
GE said the dishwasher can be installed on the countertop, under the sink or built into the cabinetry.
The dishwasher includes a 30-minute quick wash, an extra wash setting and an extra dry setting. According to GE, the dishwasher also features a baby care cycle to sanitize nursing and baby products. The company said the cycle effectively eliminates 99.999% of bacteria.
GE said the dishwasher uses 2 gallons of water per wash. The company said traditional hand washing uses 9 gallons of water.
