Gen-Y Hitch expanded its sales team. Jesse Del Toro joined Gen-Y Hitch as the company’s international sales manager and Nick DeFreese is the company’s Central Region sales manager.
Gen-Y Hitch Director of Wholesale Luke Stump said Del Toro brings years of experience helping U.S. brands enter new markets.
“Gen-Y is entering an exciting chapter of international growth,” Stump said. “Jesse brings both the drive and experience needed to take our brand to the next level worldwide, while Nick’s deep knowledge of the central U.S. market continues to strengthen our domestic partnerships. Together, they will help us serve our customers more effectively and grow our presence in key markets.”
The company said Del Toro will lead Gen-Y’s efforts to expand its global footprint, build strategic partnerships and strengthen relationships with international distributors and dealers. Del Toro began his career at Pep Boys before joining BAK Industries in 2007, which later became part of RealTruck. During his 18-year tenure, Del Toro held multiple leadership roles, including general manager of the BAK factory and Canadian and Western U.S. sales manager.
Del Toro said, “I am excited to be joining an energetic and enthusiastic team dedicated to providing quality, premium, American-made products.”
The company said DeFreese, who joined Gen-Y Hitch earlier this year, already made a significant impact by strengthening relationships with dealers and distributors across the region. Gen-Y Hitch said DeFreese’s customer-focused approach and industry expertise help the company provide superior service and support.
DeFreese said he is excited to build on the momentum in his region.
