Grand Design RV’s new one-piece Worry-Free Roof is available on its Momentum and Momentum G-Class fifth wheels and travel trailers.
Rob Groover, the general manager for the Momentum, Influence and Solitude brands, said the proprietary roofs are built for strength, longevity and peace of mind.
Groover said the Worry-Free Roof represents a major step forward in roof design.
“At Grand Design, we do not innovate for innovation’s sake. We innovate to make ownership better,” Groover said. “The Worry-Free Roof was designed to solve real problems owners face. By building the roof as one continuous structure, we have dramatically improved durability and reduced long-term maintenance concerns.”
A Grand Design spokesperson said innovation has always been central to the company’s philosophy.
“That mindset drove the development of a roof engineered to remove common failure points,” the spokesperson said. “Rather than relying on multiple decking panels sealed together, where seams can crack, shift and leak over time, the Worry-Free Roof is formed from a single piece, seamlessly eliminating joints and vulnerabilities.”
Beneath the seamless exterior, the roof is constructed using high-strength fiberglass. Grand Design said the advanced composition delivers exceptional impact resistance to hail, branches and other hazards.
“We know our customers want to spend their time traveling and camping, not worrying about annual roof upkeep,” Groover said. “Eliminating exposed sealants and integrating a smart water-shedding design helps ensure the roof perform year after year.”
The Worry-Free Roofs are standard on Grand Design’s Foundation, Influence and Solitude brands.
