Keystone to Close Two Plants

Keystone RV plans to close Goshen, Indiana plants 41 and 705 on Sept. 23, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) on the Indiana Department of Workforce Development website.

The plant closures will eliminate 334 jobs total, including 183 positions at Plant 41 and 151 positions at Plant 705. Affected positions include plant management, production, quality control and receiving.

“A small number of employees may be retained to support other operations or production facilities,” the notice said.

Keystone RV was founded in 1996. The company employs 5,000 between operations in Goshen, Indiana and Pendleton, Oregon, according to the company’s website.

Of those employed, 31% are women and 69% are men, career website Zippia said.
