Lance Camper is expanding its agreement with RV water and air heating and cooling supplier Truma Corp.

Lance was one of the first U.S. manufacturers to incorporate Truma products into their designs, Lance Camper said, beginning in 2018. The Truma Combi Eco Plus became standard equipment on two of the company’s travel trailer models.

For 2023, Lance will include the new Truma Aventa air conditioning system. All nine Lance truck camper models and seven Lance travel trailer models will feature a Truma water and air heating system and the Truma Aventa air conditioner.

The Aventa has 15,000 BTU per hour cooling capacity,120-volt AC power, automatic cooling, air circulation, dehumidification and a night mode.

“With the addition of the Truma Aventa air conditioner, our customers will benefit from one of the quietest RV experiences possible,” said Randy Hunter, Lance director of R&D. “No more waking up or turning up the volume on the TV when the air conditioner or furnace kicks on.”

The companies share common brand attributes, said Gerhard Hundsberger, Truma president, including quality, reliability and exceeding customers’ camping experience expectations.

“Lance was one of our first partners in the U.S., and we are very excited to grow our relationship significantly this year,” Hundsberger said.

The 2023 Lance models will be on display at the Hershey RV show beginning Sept. 14, with production and shipments to Lance dealers beginning in November.

Lance Camper was founded in 1965 with headquarters in Lancaster, California, and a production facility in Decatur, Indiana. Lance Camper Mfg. is a subsidiary of Rev Group.
