Leisure Travel Vans unveiled its Unity TBX Type B adventure van at a Florida RV SuperShow event Tuesday at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
The TBX is built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Cab chassis. The motorhome is available in both two-wheel and all-wheel drive. The TBX is LTV’s first all-wheel drive model. The RV includes a Mercedes-Benz factory lift kit.
Leisure Travel Vans Lead Product Designer Angelo Natuzzi said consumers will find plenty to like about the TBX and TB4X.
“The new model delivers a lot in a compact footprint, with abundant storage, a large passthrough gear garage, convertible twin beds, a full equipped, three-piece dry bath, a flexible two-table system and our new Swivel Lounge,” he said. “From seating and dining to sleeping for four, every element has been designed for comfort, versatility and, of course, adventure.”
LTV said the TBX models include up to 540-amp-hours of lithium battery power, a 440-watt solar panel system, a 4,000-watt-hour LP generator and a 255-amp auxiliary alternator. The motorhomes include a 40-gallon freshwater tank and 35-gallon grey tanks.
The company said the TBX models provide more cargo capacity than any LTV model. The RVs have a 61-cubic-foot passthrough gear garage with a waterproof floor. Toys that need to be charged can be plugged into the 120-volt or 12-volt outlets. The garage also features LED lighting. The TBX also has a 5,000-pound towing capacity.
The TBX offers a black accent package with black wheels and all-terrain tires for what LTV called an “adventure-focused look.” The TB4X offers exclusive matte-black rear fender flares.
Inside, the TBX features two living spaces: a living room and dining area up front, and twin-sized beds in the rear. All four seats face forward and include shoulder belts. The motorhome has dual tables, supported by the swiveling Lagun mounting system, and a dry bath.
The motorhome features a Truma Aventa Eco air conditioner with a heat pump and a Truma VarioHeat furnace.
A Firefly Multiplex system controls lighting, climate and other key van controls.
