Dealer management software provider Lightspeed has unveiled a wave of dealer-validated product innovations spanning four areas: EmailMarketing, InsightHub, expanded multi-store capabilities, and Tech & Sales Video.
The company said these updates advance Lightspeed’s mission to help dealers grow revenue, operate efficiently and deliver standout customer experiences. Lightspeed Chief Product Officer Taylor Allis said every feature starts with dealers.
“Dealerships are identifying three key growth challenges: multi-store inefficiencies, service bay bottlenecks and missed sales floor opportunities,” Allis said “We build solutions that solve those exact problems. These new innovations deliver measurable time savings and revenue growth without requiring dealers to change how they already work.”
The company said for dealers with multiple stores, Lightspeed’s Multi-Store Premium streamlines the movement of leads, major units and parts between stores. New Multi-Store functionality makes transferring parts, leads and inventory simple and efficient, whether dealers have two locations or many. The company said these features reduce manual entry to a click and ensure continuity of customer and inventory data across all stores.
Tech Video launched in March 2024 and the company said it has proven return on investment. Dealers who attach videos to repair orders report 50% to 100% higher RO revenue, Lightspeed said, adding that return is driven by faster approvals from clear, technician-recorded walk-throughs.
Sales Video (coming soon) will let sales teams capture and share quick unit walk-arounds. Lightspeed said it is confident Sales Video will deliver similarly strong results.
The newest addition to Lightspeed’s built-in marketing suite, EmailMarketing pairs with TextMarketing so dealers can plan and launch coordinated email + SMS campaigns without leaving the DMS. Dealers can create branded, rich-HTML emails with AI copywriting assistance, use pre-built templates tailored to common scenarios and segment audiences using Lightspeed data.
Launching later this year, InsightHub will be the at-a-glance command center for busy dealership teams, Lightspeed said. It includes role-based dashboards for sales, service and parts.
