Lippert Components (LCI) announced Dec. 31 the promotion of Vince Doepker to chief information officer (CIO) in the company’s Global Information Technology division.

In his new role, Doepker will be an executive leadership team member who oversees the Information Technology (IT) and Information Security divisions. The business sectors allow LCI to create a digital business strategy based on the implementation of new technologies and operational functions.

“Vince’s loyalty and work ethic are second to none, he has poured his heart and soul into this company and our teams over the last 23 years, and for that we are so thankful,” LCI CEO Jason Lippert stated. “We are all so proud and excited for Vince as he enters his new role as CIO of LCI.”

Doepker is an information technology industry executive with more than 23 years’ experience, ranging from a blending manufacturing and technology role to his most recent position as the VP of IT operations. Previously, Doepker oversaw the IT Operations, Information Security and global LCI service desk, all of which will be consolidated under his responsibilities.

Doepker will step into the position his former colleague, Jamie Schnur, held. Schnur recently was promoted to group president of the aftermarket.

“Jamie has done some incredible things at Lippert, and I am certainly looking forward to building on his successes,” Doepker stated. “I admire all the hard work that has gone into getting us where we are today, and I am eager to step up to the plate and drive innovation with technology in Lippert and the RV industry as a whole. I look forward to helping the company develop a unifying vision for transforming the business with technology and data.”

Schnur offered his praise in response to the announcement.

“For over 20 years, Vince has been an instrumental leader in building out our IT infrastructure,” Schnur stated. “As LCI continues to leverage technology to grow at scale, Vince’s ability to drive tremendous value throughout our global environment will serve the company well. His leadership and expertise will accelerate our integration model for all of LCI and its subsidiaries.”
