LiTime Launches Compact 200-Amp-Hour Battery

Battery supplier LiTime has introduced what it calls the world’s first 12-volt, 200-amp-hour battery with its Xtra Mini RV Lithium Battery.

Resource management remains crucial for RV consumers who travel off-grid. Battery supplier LiTime has introduced a 12-volt, 200-amp-hour battery, the Xtra Mini RV Lithium Battery.

“For many, traditional 100-amp-hour RV batteries can no longer keep up, while 200-amp-hour capacity has become the new norm,” LiTime said. “However, most 200-amp-hour batteries are bulky and consume valuable cabin space.”

LiTime said its new Xtra Mini RV Lithium Battery achieves a full 200-amp-hour capacity within a near-Group 31 battery tray, 0.6 inches taller than the BCI Group 31 standard.

The company said the Xtra Mini reduces the battery size by 41% compared with a standard 12-volt, 200-amp-hour lithium battery and 48% compared with a traditional lead-acid battery.

The Xtra Mini measures 13.11 inches by 6.93 inches by 10.04 inches.

“We continue to focus on the evolving energy demands of RV users,” a LiTime spokesperson said. “Through higher energy density and thoughtful design, we aim to deliver both capacity and convenience in limited space.”

For Type B or compact RVs, LiTime said the battery’s design enables installation under seats, beds, cabinets or storage compartments.Battery supplier LiTime has introduced what it calls the world’s first 12-volt, 200-amp-hour battery with its Xtra Mini RV Lithium Battery.

“In larger vehicles, users can reallocate the saved space to other equipment or storage, keeping interiors neat and functional,” a spokesperson said. “Beyond compact size and cell performance, the Xtra Mini integrates multiple protection and management features.”

Protection features include low-temperature guard for safe discharge down to minus–4 degrees Fahrenheit, a 200-amp professional-grade battery management system supporting 200-amp continuous output and 1,000-amp peak discharge for one second.

The battery also includes Bluetooth 5.0 for real-time monitoring via the company’s LiTime App.

“Industry experts highlight that high energy density design, like the Xtra-Mini’s ability to pack 200-amp-hours into a near-Group 31 footprint,” a spokesperson said, “is now a defining trend in RV battery development, boosting user experience and driving next-gen energy system upgrades in compact RVs.”
