
MDC USA unveiled a new off-grid travel trailer, the XT12HR Off-Grid Extreme Edition. The towable is part of the manufacturer’s Off-Grid Extreme Edition lineup.
The vehicle chassis has a trailing arms suspension. The exterior includes a backup counter and Tuson asymmetric electronic stability control. The XT12HR has a lifetime structural/chassis frame warranty.
MDC President and founder Vaughan Hindley said, “We understand the needs of modern adventurers, and this model delivers unmatched off-grid capabilities, comfort and reliability in a compact, stylish design. It is a game-changer for couples who want to explore without limits.”
The vehicle is powered with a 400-amp-hour Renogy lithium battery system and up to 950 watts of solar charging capability. The system includes a 3,000-watt pure sine-wave inverter And self-heating batteries. Consumers can monitor the system through Bluetooth connectivity.
Appliances include the Truma Aventa air conditioner, the Truma VarioHeat furnace and a Truma water heater. The RV has water tank heating pads, and insulated water lines.
The vehicle includes a wet bath and an internal and external kitchen with Thetford cooktops. The living area includes a modern oak timber-style laminated bench and countertop finishes, grey cabinets and black sinks, faucets and fixtures.
The exterior includes a rear-mounted service ladder and an electric awning.
