Medallion Bank Names New President

Medallion Bank promoted Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Justin Haley to bank president and Senior Vice President of Finance Travis Betenson was promoted to senior vice president and CFO.

Medallion Bank this week promoted Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Justin Haley to bank president.

In a corresponding move, Medallion Senior Vice President of Finance Travis Betenson was promoted to senior vice president and CFO.

Medallion Bank CEO Donald Poulton said both men have long and successful banking industry careers.

Haley takes the helm with over 30 years of experience in industrial, community and regional banks.

“This is an exciting time for Medallion Bank,” Poulton said. “When Justin joined us in 2011, it was immediately clear that he possessed the knowledge, work ethic and leadership skills to one day serve as its president.”

Betenson has over 15 years of banking leadership experience. He previously served as CFO at two Utah industrial banks.

“The ability to elevate Justin into this new role started coming together two years ago with the addition of Travis Betenson,” Poulton said, “whose experience and expertise positioned him perfectly to succeed Justin as CFO.”

Haley joined Medallion in 2011 as vice president of home improvement. Betenson joined Medallion in 2024 as vice president of finance. The bank said both appointments became effective Jan. 12.

“Justin and Travis collaborate seamlessly, and along with Steve Hannay, our chief lending officer,” Poulton said, “they form the strong executive core driving the bank’s continued growth and success.”

Hannay helped found Medallion Bank’s recreational lending team over 20 years ago. Today, Medallion Bank has over 3,000 RV dealer partners nationwide.
