Ken Eckstein sold Mount Comfort RV in Greenfield, Indiana, to Camping World, a deal first announced in July.

Eckstein entered the RV industry in high school when he washed trailers for Duffin Trailers Sales. He worked as an RV Technician to attend Indiana University.

In 2006, Ken bought Mark’s RV Sales assets and created Mount Comfort RV. The dealership has tripled since 2006 and employs 55 people. Mount Comfort has over 400 new and used vehicles. Their inventory includes Tiffin and Newmar models.

Ken ran the dealership with his son, Rusty. After 46 years in the RV industry, Ken Eckstein said he is ready to spend more time with his family.

Eckstein said, “Rusty and I meticulously weighed all our options and ultimately felt that Camping World was the best fit for us and our employees.”

The deal was conducted in partnership with RV Business Solutions, a buy-sell advisor to RV dealers. Company co-founder and Partner Scott Degnan said he has known Ken Eckstein for years and could not be happier for him, Rusty Eckstein and their families.
