The North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA) said a new strategic partnership with NCM Associates will focus on the realities of trailer dealership operations.

Through the partnership, NCM Associates is now an official education partner and the exclusive Service Management Training Provider of NATDA.

Director of Partnerships at NATDA Corey Langley said the agreement delivers NATDA members access to trailer-only 20 Groups, service and leadership workshops, industry insights and member-only scholarships and training savings.

“This partnership offers valuable and cost-effective resources,” Langley said, “that improve performance and grow stronger businesses.”

NATDA members can now take part in NCM Associate’s 20 Groups tailored specifically to the light and medium-duty trailer industry.

“A new Express 20-Group option, for even the smaller dealerships, delivers the same core benefits in a flexible, hybrid format, offering consistent insights and engagement while reducing travel costs,” an NATDA spokesperson said, “an efficient solution for NATDA members seeking a dealer 20 Group experience.”

NCM Associates will hold three sessions during the NATDA Trailer Show in Nashville (Sept. 1-3). NATDA said the sessions will give dealers direct access to practical education and a firsthand look at NCM’s peer learning model.

Topics of the three sessions include parts management, maximizing profitability in the service department and engaging in mock 20 groups.

NCM Associates 20 Group Moderator Mark Spader said the company is proud to enter the partnership with NATDA and bring resources to its members in the trailer industry.

“Together,” Spader said, “we are providing trailer dealers with access to proven insights, benchmarking and peer collaboration designed to help them make smarter decisions and drive sustainable growth.”

Additional aspects of the partnership include:

  • Two yearly Scholarships available to NATDA members for NCM Training (valued up to $3395)
  • Trend insights and benchmarking summaries will be shared through NATDA channels
  • Member only discounts for NCM training workshops
  • Expanded educational initiatives between NATDA & NCM beginning in 2027

NATDA said more details on the new partnership are to follow in the coming months.
