Registration remains open for this month’s 32nd annual OHI George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality.
OHI said the school gathers campground owners, managers and outdoor hospitality professionals from across the country.
The Outdoor Hospitality Manager (OHM) Year 1 course helps students build skills to run day-to-day campground operations.
“Year One is designed for emerging and current managers who want a strong, practical foundation in outdoor hospitality,” OHI said. “Students leave with the tools, confidence and frameworks needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences, lead teams effectively and operate a safer, more profitable park.”
The Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) Year 2 course helps students move from managing a park to strategically growing the business.
“Year Two is an advanced program for experienced professionals ready to think like owners and executives,” OHI said. “This year focuses on long-term strategy, profitability, leadership culture and risk resilience, equipping students to make smarter decisions that drive sustainable growth.”
Organizers said the classes are immersive, in-person learning experiences.

“Your park is growing, and so should you,” OHI said. “Get the tools you need to enhance your skills through a high-quality, in-person cohort program.”
The classes will be instructed by a team of 11 different instructors from across the outdoor hospitality industry.
Instructors include Mark Maciha, dean of career and technical education at Coconino Community College; Riley Wilson, OHI director of marketing; and Larry Brownfield, Kampgrounds of America (KOA) assistant vice president of franchise development.
“[Classes are] taught by industry experts focusing on business management principles and practices as applied to the outdoor hospitality industry,” OHI said. “You will learn the competencies necessary to operate a thriving outdoor hospitality business.”
The classes take place Feb. 22–27 at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia.
